Red Team Fund

We have set up a dedicated fund for people red teaming critical Bitcoin software. It pays security researchers who are finding and disclosing flaws, and it can reimburse the LLM token costs that work burns through each month.

Applications to this fund are reviewed faster than the usual grant process. If you are red teaming Bitcoin software today, apply at opensats.org/red. Refer to the announcement and the application form for additional context and information.

OpenSats is a US 501(c)(3) public charity, and the Red Team Fund runs inside that structure rather than as a separate organization. Donations from US taxpayers are tax deductible.
